Day Camp Planning Retreat, February 29 - March 1, 2008 Each church hosting a Day Camp for 2008 is invited to send 2 people (free of charge) to a retreat where we will talk and share ideas about publicity, tips for site coordinators and ways to follow up on the energy of Day Camp into your program year. This is a great way to get a head start on your planning and make the most out of your congregation's Day Camp experience! Each person will also get a free t-shirt. Day Camp is a dynamic outreach opportunity for your congregation, allowing you to reach out to neighborhood families while providing quality programming for the children that are already a part of your church community. Your congregation's exposure to the young women and men who are living out their faith by working at camp will leave a lasting impression.
Our Day Camp program is designed to meet the needs of all sizes of congregations, whether your church already hosts vacation Bible school and wants to have additional summer programming, or you are from a smaller church that is looking for a simpler way to provide summer fun.
We provide the curriculum, crafts, games, songs, fun, and even the supplies! You provide housing for our Day Camp staff and the volunteers to help make it a week of faith-based fun!
