Being a member of Thrivent Financial for Lutherans can make your donation dollars strech even further than before. Listed below are a links to Thrivent to help make your giving easier.
Simply Giving® is an automated giving program designed to help you conveniently and consistently contribute to a Lutheran congregation or institution or to pay tuition at a Lutheran school. Through Simply Giving®, your gifts or tuition payments are made through a pre-authorized withdrawal from your bank account. You determine the frequency of your automatic gift—weekly, semi-monthly or monthly—the option is yours. Your gift or payment is deposited into the recipient's bank account on the same day it is withdrawn from your account—at no cost to you or the recipient. Also, you do not have to be a member of Thrivent to use the Simly Giving program.

Because of your planned giving and ongoing stewardship, camp benefits from steady, more predictable revenues throughout the year. This helps Mt. Cross to better meet its financial goals and development objectives. To have an application sent to you, call or email camp.
Giving Plus Application for Mt. Cross to send in with your gift
Did you know that Thrivent allocates over $20 Million Giving Plus dollars each year to be given away to Lutheran organizations. And much of this money does not get used because folks are unaware of having their gifts matched. The Giving Plus Program is a huge blessing that you can take advantage of. It works like this. If you own a Thrivent Financial Product, that means you are a “member” of the organization. When you give to a qualified Lutheran institution such as Mt. Cross , Thrivent will give the camp 50 cents for every dollar that you gave to camp. You can give up to $600 during the year to two different organizations. $600 to Mt. Cross and $600 to another non-profit of your choice. Thrivent gives $300 to Mt. Cross and $300 to the other organization. Instead of donating $1,200, you just gave $1,800. WOW!
Here is how to make this happen:
1. You can simply send a gift and let the camp know you are a Thrivent Member. We will send you a giving plus application that you sign and fill in your member number and send it back to camp.
2. Or, you can click on the application link above and print off a giving plus application. Sign it, fill in your member number, and send with your gift to Mt. Cross .
Please help us educate people on this program, it is amazing to me how many people do not take advantage of the opportunity to multiply their gift.
Family Aplication to be an assocaite member of Thrivent
Even if you are not a Thrivent Member, there is a great opportunity to become an Associate Member. You pay $10 a year and there are no strings attached. No life insurance or mutaul fund purchases. Other benefits include being able to particiapte in local chapter events and receiving the Thrivent Magazine. An email or call to Mt. Cross can help answer any questions you might have.
